Some of the projects running or being developed in this area-

Primary Care Projects
The Primary Health Care projects running in this area cover a range of activities, the predominant ones being liaising between doctors surgeries and hospitals and patients, either to collect and/or deliver prescriptions or to collect patients who otherwise would have difficulties getting to either doctors or hospital appointments.

There are various other supporting possibilities, including befriending: talking and listening to someone in their own home; assisting someone to go shopping, or for a short walk, when they do not have the confidence to go on their own.
